Gift Seda began sculpting at age of 8 apprenticing with his older brothers, Sample and Edson Seda. It all started with him washing and polishing their work.
It was the late Bakari Manzi who guided him to uncover his appreciation for the environment.
Today sculptures that look to the human and future have grown out of decades of work sculpting nature and animals such as elephants or wolves.
As a family man he shares life with his wife Monica and two sons while working as an active member of the art community in Tengenenge, Zimbabwe.
